Minimize Msn to System Tray in Windows 7 |
Annoying thing that Windows 7 has new gui and controls, but fear not if you want to have your msn client minimized to the system tray. Follow these 4 steps(and it will behave as in Vista): 1. Close Msn completely. 2. Go to Program Files->Windows Live->Messenger right click on msnmsgr.exe and click properties.
3. In the "Compatibility" tab, check of "Run this program in compatibility mode for", and select "Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)" from the drop down list. Click OK.
4. Start Msn again. When you now click the X button in the top right corner, it will minimize to the System Tray! | ||
